Meteorites!

Mr. Gheesling, a meteorite collector, visited us in late September to teach us about meteorites. We were thrilled to actually get to hold a small meteorite! It was heavy! He showed us video of a meteorite making its way to the ground, pictures of meteorites, and even gave us our own piece of an actual meteorite to take home! At the end of his lesson, we all got to hold a piece of Mars and the moon! What an exciting lesson!
